Introducing the Brand-New Islamorada Ballroom:

The Islamorada Ballroom, which is the largest in the Upper Florida Keys, hosts corporate meetings, social events and other group functions. Sitting just north of the resort’s main lodge, the center boasts wide-open spaces, steps away from the ocean, ideal for dream weddings, receptions, inaugural balls, and corporate events. With over 10,000 square-feet of space, The Islamorada Ballroom features ceiling heights of 17.5 feet, accommodating up to 1,500 guests for receptions and 788 for banquet-style dinners. Retractable walls will allow for three breakout rooms for smaller events and functions. Surrounding the center is a wrap-around foyer area, where views of the Atlantic Ocean provide the ideal backdrop for coastal-inspired receptions and exhibits.

Capturing the charm of the Florida Keys while also highlighting the property’s rich history, the seamless blend of oceanside luxury and casual comfort is weaved into all elements of the center’s design. Decor embraces the bodies of water that surround it with rich hues of blue and turquoise complemented by the warm earth tones of sand, tan and beige.

Bougainvillea Ballroom:

Featuring subtle West Indies inspired décor and crowned by stunning capiz shell chandeliers, the Bougainvillea Ballroom offers approximately 2,100 square feet of space with 12’ ceilings, and is divisible by air-wall into two sections. The Bougainvillea can accommodate up to 100 seated classroom style, or 150 in banquet rounds. The French –style doors offer natural lighting, and the adjoining open-air courtyard is perfect for serving continental breakfast, breaks or even a casual lunch al fresco.

Hibiscus Suite:

The Hibiscus Suite, most often used for smaller board meetings, office or hospitality space, offers approximately 750 square feet of space with 12’ ceilings. The Hibiscus Suite is also divisible into two sections making it ideal for small breakout sessions. This room also adjoins our open-air courtyard and is a lovely choice for indoor / outdoor cocktail receptions.

Sunrise Ballroom & Oceanfront Terrace:

The Sunrise Ballroom and adjoining Oceanfront Terrace, located on the Club Level of the Main Lodge, is Cheeca’s newest, most scenic space. With direct views of the Atlantic and the iconic 525’ pier, the Sunrise Ballroom offers approximately 1900 square feet of space. The room’s French doors, spanning the entire exterior wall, are outfitted with blackout shades making the room suitable for both meetings and spectacular evening events. The adjoining 750 square foot Oceanfront Terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Cheeca’s landmark Pier is a lovely choice for receptions, dinners or even working lunches.

The Islamorada Suite:

Cheeca’s most luxurious 1 bedroom suite is ideal for receptions, small meetings and hospitality, is now available to groups! This signature suite boasts approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor space, a spacious oceanfront terrace with soft seating as well as dining/meeting table for up to 8, a cozy bay view balcony with rocking chairs, large kitchen area, a roomy, light-filled living area, indoor dining table for 4, powder room, and private king-bedded master suite featuring stunning marble bathroom and a hidden outdoor oasis with soaking tub and shower.

Bush 41 Presidential Retreat:

This iconic two bedroom guest suite is located beachfront and features personal memorabilia and historic items gifted to Cheeca by George Herbert Walker Bush, our 41st President, and long-time Cheeca guest. This spacious kind-bedded suite offers approximately 1,200 square feet of space with large living area, separate powder room, full kitchen, and a dining/meeting table for up to 6, making it ideal for small meetings or hospitality.

Mia Cucina Restaurant:

By night, Limoncello serves up Tuscan inspired favorites, but by day this cheerful, airy space, is available for groups up to 55 for private breakfast or luncheon events.

Beyond Walls:

Cheeca’s 27 acres offers limitless opportunities to get out of the meeting room and out of your comfort zone. Meet on Spa Island, or brainstorm on the beach. Plan your sunrise breakfast on our 39’ motor catamaran surround by endless miles of azure waters, and your afternoon teambuilding event on nearby Indian Key, a site first visited by a Spanish treasure fleet in 1733. Inspire your team, challenge them, stretch their boundaries. Think outside the walls.
