Cheeca Lodge & Spa takes fine dining over the top by offering a unique dining experience for two al fresco -- with an enchanting new twist. Now, guests staying at Cheeca can choose to have dinner on the beach – with sand between toes, cool ocean breezes blowing and the quiet calls of seabirds for entertainment. Dining on the beach at Cheeca – the ultimate fine dining experience.
Imagine sipping a crisp Chardonnay, gazing into the eyes of your beloved as the moon rises over the Atlantic Ocean. You are seated on the palm-lined beach, perhaps under one of resort’s quaint island tiki huts. The nearby firepit blazes. Tiki torches light up the night. Your table is set with white linens, crystal and china tablewear, and tropical flowers. The dancing light of candles completes this romantic setting.
Your server appears right on time, offering the same unobtrusive yet efficient service that has made the Atlantic’s Edge restaurant world-renowned. Now it’s time to choose from an elaborate prix fixe menu, and the choices make your mouth water. Start with a tantalizing appetizer, such as Chilled Ahi Tuna, Fresh Florida Stone Crab or Grilled Fuji Apple Salad. Sit back and relax as the ocean waters turn a brilliant shade of blue. Now for the main course: will it be Grilled Yellowtail Snapper, or Harissa Rubbed Lamb Tenderloin, or Dry Aged Black Angus Rib Eye Steak? And of course, no meal is complete without a luscious slice of Cheeca’s famous Key Lime Meringue Pie.
With the light of the tiki torches and the moon to guide you, you may finish your evening with a romantic walk down Cheeca’s tradmark fishing pier. Spotting a record-size bonefish swimming at the end of the pier, you know just what you are going to do tomorrow. But for now, savor the lasting effects of Dinner on the Beach at Cheeca Lodge & Spa.
